The Virginia War Museum
The Museum was established in 1923 by American Legion Post #25 (The Braxton/Perkins Post) as the American Legion Memorial Museum. The City of Newport News assumed administration of the Museum in the 1930's.

The Casemate Museum on Ft. Monroe
The Casemate Museum is part of the U.S. Army Museum System and is open fom 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. seven days per week. Admission is free and the facility is handicap accessible.  The museum is closed on New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. more info
